"We are very happy to be here, to bring the Santiago 2023 Games closer to the entire community. We will also be at the other sub-venues in Valparaiso, O'Higgins and Biobio, and what we want is for all Chileans to feel that these are their Games, also our Games and we have to understand that,” she emphasized.
Meanwhile, the executive director of the organizing committee, Gianna Cunazza, added that "we are happy that the citizens accompany us, it is the most important thing for us, since there is less and less left to experience the Santiago 2023 Games."
The also Physical Education teacher and former handball player highlighted the new slogan of the event: 'Our meeting point'. "The idea is that Santiago 2023 unites us and makes us celebrate together the joy of sports," she said.
