Nuestro punto de encuentro

The Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games aspire to be a space for us to focus on what is good for us and what brings us together: a meeting place not only for our country, but also for all the Americas.

The games are an event from the state of Chile, that we are proud to receive for the first time in our sport history. Day to day we work to make this encounter a focus point to inspire the society and a light for future generations. Because of this reason we want to change how we understand sports through the connection between high performance, sustainability and the communities.
Santiago 2023 is our meeting place, it will bring together a whole city, country and continent.

A meeting place for children and seniors

Sports bring us all together. Santiago 2023 will offer children, teenagers and seniors free tickets for them to attend the 56 sport competitions at the Games.

We know that education and sport go hand in hand, it is the reason why our education program will provide inclusive, diverse and sustainable training for teachers, children and young people to highlight the social role of physical activity. Our meeting place we provide an imprint, a footprint in educational training.

With new urban sports

Pan American sports that today are practiced frequently on the streets of Santiago, will debut at the Pan American Games, like breaking, skateboarding and sport climbing.

A decentralized meeting place

We won’t be fully enjoying the sport competitions only in Santiago. Los Andes, Quillota, Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Algarrobo, Pichilemu and San Pedro de la Paz will also live the largest multisport event that has been organized in our country.

Additionally, passion, inclusion and the perseverance of each athlete will get to every corner of Chile and the world, with more than 1,900 hours of live TV broadcast.

A park open to the city

The infrastructure of the games will leave a material legacy for Chileans. The Parque Deportivo Estadio Nacional will be the biggest urban and sport park of South America, with 64 hectares that will include public courts and green spaces.

Inclusive games

Santiago 2023 has inclusion as one of its values. Since sport is a meeting place for everyone, we will become the first Games that use the same logo for the Pan American and Parapan American Games.

Our focus is to change the perception about people with disabilities, showing the achievements of the best Para athletes of the Americas. Generating awareness about paralympic sport is changing the way of seeing people with disabilities.

Everyone will be able to participate in the volunteers program, which has as a goal an equal participation between men and women. We want to give the 17 thousand volunteers the best possible experience, since they transmit their immeasurable energy and whole inspiration to us.

The community in the middle

Our objective is to get the Games closer to the community. We work, permanently, with the 20 districts that will be hosts. We have also met with the neighbors to understand their aspirations and interests in relation with the execution of Santiago 2023, the most important multisport event done in our country.

The games are an invaluable opportunity to leave a footprint, an unforgettable memory. A chance to get together.
