The Santiago 2023 Corporation wants to be a meeting point for all Chileans, where high performance, community, and sustainability guide all the work we do as the Organizing Committee. In this context and always hoping to contribute to the legacy that this experience will leave in our country, we designed an Education Program that, through an online platform (link below), seeks to strengthen inclusive, diverse, and sustainable training of teachers, children and young people from different regions of the country, highlighting the social role of sport.

For these reasons, the Games Education Program was conceived as a space for the creation of new meeting points between sports and society, new perspectives on sport and physical activity and, above all, new ways of experiencing sport from its social role. This innovative proposal considers four fundamental aspects:

  • 1

Introduction Module to the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games.

  • 2

    Sport and Social Inclusion.

  • 3

    Sport and Culture.

  • 4

    Sport and Sustainable Development.

All this, considering that people —and the communities of which they are a part of— are the center of the model of interaction with the community at the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games.

What are we looking for?

  • Educate about sport as a tool for sustainable development.
  • Publicize the Pan American and Parapan American sport.
  • Achieve a local, regional and national reach through online education.
  • Generate experiences that develop skills in teachers, children and young people.

What organizations do we work with?

  • Ministry of Sport.
  • Ministry of Education.
  • Regional governments.
  • Municipalities hosting the Games.
  • Educational institutions.
  • Educational communities.
  • Higher Education Institutions.
  • Social Organizations.
