The social club from Las Condes will be venue for basque pelota and basketball 3x3.

The traditional Estadio Español from Las Condes formalized last Tuesday its collaboration with the Organizing Committee of the Pan American Games to be a venue for basque pelota and basketball 3x3 during the continental event.

The signature of the document was carried out in the dependencies of the Corporation, located in the Pérez Valenzuela street, Providencia district. It was led by the Chief Executive Officer of the Games, Gianna Cunazza, along with the representatives of the Iberian entity: the president, Juan Erenchun, and the General Director, Javier Viñales.

“This is very important for us, because we will hold tournaments that are typically from Spain, such as basque pelota. This helps us a lot with our young members who are third or fourth generation, to make them feel close to our traditions” said Erunchun.

In addition, it was confirmed that the precinct will also hold basketball 3x3. “Everything related to sports is good. We are a social club that privileges the development of our people, and sports are very important as a complement to this goal.”

The Estadio Español from Las Condes, located in Nevería 4855, is a sport, social, and cultural institution founded on October 12th, 1950. For more than 70 years, it has spread into Chilean society the Hispanic values and culture. The formalization of its incorporation is a new milestone: being part of the most important multisport festival of the Americas.
