With the presence of Gianna Cunazza, executive director of Santiago 2023, the Mayor of Lo Espejo, Javiera Reyes, and directors of the Alicia Ariztia de Silva School, the agreement between the corporation and the Municipality of Lo Espejo was signed, where they pledged to develop collaborative work to promote education, culture, sports and recreation.
The ceremony was inaugurated with the presentation of the batucada “Bloco Lo Espejo”, followed by speeches by the authorities and a karate sports clinic. In addition, the Alicia Ariztia de Silva School is one of the several establishments that will be part of our Education Program that aims to leave a legacy for future generations through sports.
In this regard, Gianna Cunazza said that "we are very happy to approach communities like Lo Espejo, a district where we hope that all children participate at the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games."
While the Mayor detailed how they are preparing for the most important multi-sports event on the continent: “We have been working together with sports organizations because we want to be a part, and also adapt our district for these Games. We are going to work so that these Games can be enjoyed here in Lo Espejo”.
