The cóndores fly to Uruguay

During yesterday afternoon, the Chilean rugby team traveled to Montevideo to play the South American 4 nations tournament.

The championship that brings our country together with Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina begins next Saturday, October 17 at the Charrúa Stadium.

Although the training sessions have undergone modifications, given the strict health protection protocols, the cóndores have been able to prepare in a good way for this and future championships.

The Chilean coach, Pablo Lemoine, said he was very happy because "despite the circumstances we are experiencing, we have managed to reach a good level physically and technically for the debut in the South American tournament against Argentina.

Part of the roster of 30 players arrived at the airport on the Santiago 2023 electric bus, in the context of collaboration agents with high-performance athletes that the organization of the next Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games is implementing.

The national team player, Julio Blanc, highlighted the organization's electric bus initiative and described the bus as "silent, friendly to the environment, spacious." "I'm very excited about the start of the tournament and also about what Santiago 2023 is doing," adds the wing of the Chilean team.

We leave you the calendar of the Chilean team's matches and we invite you to support them in this South American 4-nation tournament.
