The training cycle for sports that will be present in the next Pan American and Parapan American Games directed to journalists and communicators finally came to an end, thanks to the alliance between the Corporation Santiago 2023, the Sports Journalists Circle of Chile (CPD for its acronym in Spanish), and the San Sebastián University (USS).
Specialists who work in the Organizing Committee presented the talks in each sport, and they were imparted both online and on-site with the presence of 100 journalists. The communicators received an induction in 17 disciplines, which was conducted in 6 sessions between July and September, in the Campus Bellavista of USS.
Danilo Díaz, the chairman of CPD, commentator on ADN Radio, and director of the Tribuna Andes magazine, highlighted that "it has been a good alliance and it enhances the work that the Corporation has done altogether with the Circle, so we are very grateful and hoping it can be re-edited. It's something that should be usual and permanent.”

To Álvaro Lara; editor of the guidelines of Pluto TV, the streaming signal that will broadcast The Games; this is "a significative experience, all the expositors were top level, with a dedication and compromise to teach what they know, which has been valuable to all of us who participated."
Hassan Apud, a journalist from TNT Sports, described the experience as “helpful, didactic, and especially necessary.” The professional also added that “it has allowed us to understand disciplines in which we don’t have many tools, and in that way, we have been able to understand them, and not only their rules but also the dynamics. This helps a lot considering how the broadcasting of this big sports event is going to be.”
Reporters from all over the world sent more than 2,200 accreditation requests for the Pan American Games and the Parapan American Games, which have differentiated processes for the press. In Chile, the event will be broadcast on many television signals: TVN, Canal 13, Chilevisión, CDO, TNT Sports, and Zapping with their respective platforms.
