The purchase began at 10:00 a.m. through the Puntoticket.com website. Thousands of Chileans quickly visited the website in search of their spot in Parque Estadio Nacional. The announcement issued by the organization yesterday had an impact and spectators from all over the world already assured their presence for the opening of the Pan American Games on October 20th, which will be broadcasted to more than 200 million viewers.
”We’re very pleased with this great reaction from the public. We’re working to offer a top-level opening ceremony that will mark the beginning of an event of the same caliber. The opening and closing ceremonies will show the best of Chile in the eyes of the world,” explained the Chief Executive Officer of Santiago 2023, Harold Mayne-Nicholls.
And there is good news for those spectators and sports lovers who want to witness an opening ceremony. There are still half of the tickets available for the start of the Parapan American Games on November 17th, also at Estadio Nacional.
It is important to remember that the price of tickets for the initial event was CLP9,200. Banco Estado customers have a 50% discount while stocks last. For the inauguration of the Parapan American Games, the price is CLP6,900.
