Brazil Secures Gold in Male's 4x400 Relay

The South American team prevailed with a time of 3'03''92 in the event that concluded the track and field competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games.

Saturday 4th November 2023.- The male's 4x400 relay event crowned the Brazilian team with the gold medal, surpassing Mexico, who took the silver, in the race held at the Estadio Nacional, concluding the track and field program at Santiago 2023.

The quartet composed of Lucas Carvalho, Matheus Lima, Douglas Hernandes Mendes, and Lucas Conceicao posted split times of 1'32''33 (800 meters), 2'18''65 (1,200 meters), and 3'03''92 (1,600 meters). The North American team followed with a time of 3'04''22.

The Dominican Republic's team secured the third position with a time of 3'05''98.

Team Chile finished in the seventh position with a time of 3'12''40.
