Saturday, November 4th, 2023.- Canada secured the bronze medal in the softball competition held at Parque Cerrillos by defeating Mexico with ease by a score of 7-0.

The result may not come as a surprise, considering that both teams had already faced each other in the Super Round, with Canada winning 6-1. Canada was then eliminated from the gold medal contention after losing to the United States, while Mexico was narrowly defeated by Puerto Rico with a 1-0 score.

In the battle for the bronze, Canada took a 1-0 lead in the second inning and practically sealed the victory with four runs in the third and two more in the fourth.

At 2:00 p.m. this Saturday, the top favorite, the United States, will compete for the gold medal in the final against Puerto Rico.
