Monday, October 30th, 2023.- The second game of the male's basketball day at the Pan American Games took place at the Polideportivo 1 del Estadio Nacional.

In Group A, the Dominican Republic secured a clear victory over Panama with a score of 81-53.

The Dominicans won the first, third, and final quarters with scores of 17-10, 28-8, and 23-11, respectively. Panama claimed the second quarter with a score of 24-13.

The top scorer for the Dominican Republic was Juan Guerrero with 16 points, while Alexander Romero led Panama with 13 points.

In the opening game of the day, Argentina and Venezuela tied at 77 after the regulation four quarters. In the five-minute overtime, Argentina emerged as the victor, outscoring their opponent 18-11, resulting in a final score of 95-88.

The male's basketball day at Santiago 2023 continues with the matches between Mexico and Brazil (Group B, starting at 5:30 p.m.) and Chile and Puerto Rico (Group B, starting at 8:00 p.m.).
