Tuesday, October 31th, 2023.- In a tightly contested match held at the Polideportivo in Viña del Mar on Tuesday, the male's handball team of the United States defeated their Cuban counterparts 30-28 in the Pan American Games.

The first half of this Group B encounter favored the North Americans, leading 17-14, while Cuba claimed the second half of the game with a score of 14-13.

The action in Group B continues at 12:30 p.m. with the classic match between Uruguay and Argentina.

Later on Tuesday at the Santiago 2023 games, the Polideportivo will host Group A matches between the Dominican Republic and Brazil (5:30 p.m.) and Mexico and Chile (8:00 p.m.)
