Sunday, October 29, 2023.- The Brazilian female's handball team secured the gold medal against Argentina in the final held at the Gimnasio Polideportivo de Viña del Mar.

The winning team immediately confirmed that the gold medal was their goal, establishing an early lead thanks to the effectiveness of their top scorers Bruna de Paula and Larissa Araujo.

As a result, Brazil ended the first half with a clear 18-9 lead.

Upon returning from the break, Brazil continued to extend their advantage, leading 20-10. The situation became even more favorable when Argentine player Josseline Karsten received a red card, leaving her team with one less player.
