Wednesday, October 25th.- The second day of the Pan American surfing event in Santiago 2023 began at 8 am on Wednesday at the renowned Punta de Lobos Beach in the O'Higgins Region. 

The first events to take place were the longboard competitions, both for male and female, in the main round. 

In the male's division, the results saw Carlos Bahía (Brazil), Rafael Cortez (Chile), Benoit Clemente (Peru), and Julián Schweizer (Uruguay) advance. 

In the female's division, the qualifiers were María Reyes (Peru), Sindy Portillo (El Salvador), Chloe Calmon (Brazil), and Agostina Pellizzari (Argentina). 

Next up at Punta de Lobos are the repechage rounds for shortboard in both the male's and female's categories.
