Sunday, october 22nd, 2023.- At Laguna Los Morros in San Bernardo, south of Santiago, the male and female finalists in the trick modality for water ski of the Pan American Games 2023 were determined this Sunday. They will compete for the podium during Monday afternoon.

For the female category, the participants competing for medals are Natalia Cuglievan from Peru, Americans Erika Regan Lang and Regina Jacques, Canadians Paige Louise Rinil and Neilly Ross, and Colombian Daniela Verswyve.

For the males, the battle will feature eight skiers: Patricio Font and Carlos Lamadrid from Mexico, Chileans Martín Labra and Matías González, Canadian Dorien Llewellyn, Argentinian Tobías Gioirgis and Patricio Zohar, and Pablo Alvira from Colombia.

In this discipline, athletes perform tricks with a single ski, executing as many maneuvers as possible during two sets of 20 seconds each. The first set is for hand maneuvers, and the second is for foot maneuvers.

At the end of both performances, a single score is recorded after a run of about 175 meters marked at both ends by a pair of fixed buoys.
