We’re nearly five months away until the beginning of the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games and the TV programming starts to vibe with the colors of the most important multisport event organized in our country.
In this sense, Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) will make an important milestone on its way towards October 20th. This is because on Sunday, May 14th, the official channel of the Games will launch its new TV program “On the way to Santiago 2023.”
The TV program will have 20 chapters and it’ll be broadcasted every Sunday at 03:00 p.m. The national channel will show life stories related to outstanding Chilean athletes and Para athletes. It’ll also show the progress of the organization through the path to the Americas multisport festival and it’ll seek to educate the viewers about the sports that will be present in the competitions.
The program will be hosted by Pedro Carcuro, who will lead the space and it’ll count with the participation of diverse personalities of the channel such as: Gustavo Huerta, Fernando Tapia, Ivette Vergara, and the ex football player Mauricio Pinilla.
Gustavo Huerta, sport journalist with broad experience in this matter, gave details about what’s coming in “On the road to Santiago 2023” and he indicated that “this TV program will show the life of those athletes. We’ll go to their houses, share trips with them, study (because some of them are currently studying), and it’ll be a great enjoyable dynamic to know them in their sport side and their personal one, with their likes, desires, and hobbies.”
For the beginning of the program, it’ll present as its main axis the stories of two national outstanding athletes: the skating Chilean star, María José Rojas and the Greco-Roman wrestler and ambassador of Santiago 2023, Yasmani Acosta.
