The Santiago Race (Maratón de Santiago in Spanish) will be the last opportunity in which people will be able to register as volunteers for the Pan American and Parapan American Games. The above is because the Santiago 2023 Corporation has extended the period to register until Sunday, May 14th; such day will take place the most important race of the capital.
The information was confirmed by Gianna Cunazza, the Santiago 2023 Chief Executive Officer, who indicated that “we decided to give an extension to the original date for those who are interested in being part of this, so they can do it. We know that the Race is a great space to encourage our future volunteers, so we don’t want anybody to stay out of the multisport festival experience.”
In total, it’s expected that nearly 17 thousand volunteers participate during the Pan American and Parapan American Games that will be carried out between next October and November. Even when there are more than 25 thousand people registered, the organization decided to extend the opportunity to the race attendees.
