Sunday, November 26th, 2023.- The sports day will start very early on the streets of Isla de Maipo, a town located southwest of the Chilean capital, with the beginning of the first of the scheduled events for this Sunday.
There will be six finals for the gold that will be run almost simultaneously starting at 08:00, in Class B, both male and female; Class H3-5, for male and female; H1-2 Mixed Road; and T1-2 Mixed Road.
At 11:45, the road events in the C4-5 and C1-3 categories, for both male and female, are scheduled to begin.
Para badminton, held on the courts of the Olympic Training Center in the commune of Ñuñoa, will begin at 09:00 with matches in the male's singles SL3 category and female's singles HW1 category, for competitors in wheelchairs.
Not before 11:00, the matches for gold in the Female's Singles SH6 and Male's Singles WH1 categories will commence.
CLOSING CEREMONY
Santaferia, Los Ramblers, Princesa Alba, Gepe, and Banda Conmoción will be the artists responsible for closing the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games in a ceremony scheduled for 20:30 at the Villa Parapanamericana in the commune of Cerrillos, southwest of the Chilean capital.
Unlike the opening day, this event will not be open to the general public but will be a ceremony specifically dedicated to the Para athletes and volunteers who have worked as facilitators throughout this period. It will be an intimate closing ceremony, as stated by the organizers.
The audience can follow the ceremony through various television and streaming channels that will broadcast the event.
