She advanced to the final of the female's Singles SL4 series after defeating Peruvian Jenny Ventocilla.

Friday, November 24th, 2023.- Brazilian Edwarda Oliveira has her sights set on the gold medal in Para badminton. This Friday, in the semifinal of the female's Singles SL4 category, she overcame Peruvian Jenny Ventocilla in a two-to-one set victory, with scores of 21-16, 11-21, and 21-11 in 37 minutes of play.

"I was very nervous about this match, and only in the third set, after a key point, did I loosen up more and was able to finish the match well," said the Brazilian athlete.

"Now I will focus entirely on winning the gold medal," stated the victor, who is making her debut in the Parapan American Games and has only dropped one set in five matches.
