Friday, November 24th, 2023.- Brazilian Ana Silva smoothly advanced this Friday to the Parapan American gold medal bout in the -65kg category of Para Taekwondo.

At the Centro de Deportes de Contacto, she defeated Chilean Constanza Fuentes 33-2, as part of Santiago 2023.

Due to Ana Silva's more than 30-point difference against her opponent, the match was shortened.

"This was a fight I didn't know what to expect from because I didn't know my opponent. I adopted a more offensive stance to finish as quickly as possible. This result is what I was expecting to focus on what's next," said the Brazilian.

Despite the defeat, Chilean Constanza Fuentes secured the bronze medal.
