Friday, November 24th, 2023.- The U.S. wheelchair basketball team defeated Brazil 60-30 and will play for the Parapan American gold against Canada in the female's competition of this sport. 

A final between classic rivals is set to take place at the Polideportivo 1 of the Estadio Nacional, as Team USA had no setbacks in eliminating Brazil from the fight for gold. 

With Rose Hollermann as the top scorer with 16 points, the United States advanced to another final, arriving undefeated after victories in the preliminary phase. 

Chile, Peru, and Argentina struggled against the United States in the preliminary rounds, and on Thursday, it was Brazil's turn to experience the challenge. In the final, Canada looms as a threat after a comfortable victory against Argentina in the other semi-final. 

The wheelchair basketball final is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. this Friday.
