Blind Football: Peru, Mexico Share Points in Exciting Match

When there were only 25 seconds left, the Aztecs managed to equalize the match, leaving their chances open to fight for the bronze.

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023.- The blind football day of Santiago 2023 ended in the best possible way with a contested match between Peru and Mexico, who, with a 1-1 draw, only secured their first point in the tournament.

As the first half was ending, the Peruvian team found the goal thanks to Francesco Pérez, and it seemed they would win the match.

However, Mexico did not give up, and with 35 seconds left, they had a penalty that Rangel missed.

The revenge was within reach, and Rangel himself scored the final 1-1, leaving them still with a chance to win a medal as the Aztecs depend on a victory against Chile this Thursday to compete for the bronze.

Peru also has chances, although they will face the powerful Brazilian team on Thursday.
