Parapan American Games: We Reach the Seventh Day of Competition at Santiago 2023

The second day of athletics stands out at the renovated Centro Atlético Mario Recordón, located at the Estadio Nacional.

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023.- We quickly find ourselves already on the seventh day of the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games, which started last Thursday, November 16th, with Para table tennis matches.

This Wednesday, athletes will compete in various disciplines, and in some of them, there will be medal ceremonies.

For the seventh edition of the Parapan American Games, there will be action in both female and male wheelchair basketball at the Polideportivo 1 of the Estadio Nacional.

At the Centro de Deportes Comunitarios Lo Espejo, numerous medals will be contested in Boccia in both male and female's series.

Blind Football, located at the Centro de Deportes Paralímpicos, will host matches between Chile-Colombia, Brazil-Argentina, and Peru-Mexico starting at 4:00 p.m.

At the Estadio Bicentenario in La Florida, Para Football, starting from 2:30 p.m., will feature matches between the United States-Venezuela, Chile-Brazil, and Canada-Argentina.

Goalball, played at the Centro de Deportes Paralímpicos, will feature several matches in both categories female and male.

Badminton begins early at the Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico, as does Swimming at the Centro Acuático at the Estadio Nacional.

At the Centro de Tiro con Arco, several medals will be awarded in Para Archery, while Wheelchair Rugby will have the semifinals.

The excitement of Wheelchair Tennis continues.

As usual, the highlight of athletics, starting at three in the afternoon at the Centro Atlético Mario Recordón, is the conclusion of numerous events, with the subsequent medal presentations.
