Francisco Cayulef Enters the Battle for Medals in Wheelchair Tennis

The local tennis player had a comfortable day on the clay court of the Court Central at the Estadio Nacional, where he defeated the Canadian Mitch McIntyre in the Quad category.

Cayulef, hailing from the southern city of Coyhaique, defeated the North American 6-3, 6-2 in one hour of play.

The difference in the match was determined by the effectiveness of the Chilean in returning, as he broke McIntyre's serve three times.

Francisco Cayulef will face the winner of the match between the American David Wagner and the Brazilian Leandro Pena in the semi-finals, who are facing each other later in the day.
