Canada Maintains Undefeated Streak in Female Wheelchair Basketball

The North American team secured their third consecutive victory in Group A, defeating Colombia at the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games.

Tuesday, November 21st, 2023.- Tuesday's session started early at the Estadio Nacional’s Polideportivo 1, with a resounding victory for Canada in Group A of the female's wheelchair basketball category at these Parapan American Games.

The maple leaf hoops team secured their third consecutive victory at Santiago 2023 with a convincing win against the Colombian team.

Canada established a lead from the first quarter, which they won impressively with a score of 25-6, and from there, they controlled a victory that ended with a resounding 71-25 scoreline.

The standout player of the day was the Canadian Arinn Young, who scored 18 points.

The North Americans concluded their participation in the group stage undefeated, winning all three of their matches and securing the top spot in the zone. They now await their opponent for the semi-finals, which will be determined by the team finishing in second place in Group B.
