Monday, November 20th, 2023.- At the Centro de Deportes Paralímpicos of the Estadio Nacional, the last match of Monday's goalball session was played, where the United States clearly defeated Chile. 

The North American team showcased their experience in the discipline and defeated the local team 9-1, a difference they secured in the second half, where the Americans scored six times. 

Despite the defeat, Chilean player Edith Muñoz expressed satisfaction with their performance, stating, "We gave them a fight, they didn't outscore us by 10 goals like last year; we are holding on more, growing each time, and we are here to give them a fight." 

The Female's Goalball Group D is led by the United States with six points, followed by Canada and Chile with three points each, while Peru has not yet earned points. 

The group stage concludes on Tuesday with the match between Chile and Canada at 12:00 p.m. local time, while the United States will face Peru at 4:30 p.m.
