And that's exactly what they did. They achieved a resounding 11-1 victory over Venezuela in a match valid for Group B.

The Canadian male team bounced back strongly at Santiago 2023 after decisively defeating the Venezuelans, who could do nothing against the efficiency of the North Americans.

Before the 5-minute mark, Canada was already leading 7-0, giving a glimpse of what would come later. Venezuela's consolation goal was just a mirage that did not serve to reverse the overall result.
