Sunday, November 19th, 2023.- The Argentine female's goalball team bounced back after the tough loss against Brazil in yesterday's debut. Today, they defeated Guatemala 8-0 and are dreaming of advancing to the next phase.

The first match for the female's goalball team at Santiago 2023 had not been easy. Brazil demonstrated its expertise, leaving Argentina with a task in their match against Guatemala, and they did not disappoint.

The Argentine team dominated from start to finish, securing a resounding 8-0 victory against the Central American team, with an outstanding performance from Elizabeth Almada, who scored 5 of the 8 goals. The other three goals were scored by Soledad Graciela Almada.

Argentina has turned the page and now heads into the match against Mexico with high morale. Their next encounter is scheduled for Monday at 9:30 am at the Paralympic Sports Center, closing out Group C.
