Para Swimming: Brazil Dominates S14 200 Meters Freestyle at Santiago 2023

The South American giant took all three medals in the women's category, while in the men's, Gabriel Bandeira secured a Parapan American record.

Saturday, November 18th, 2023.- Brazil is dominating at the Centro de Deportes Acuáticos del Estadio Nacional, and now they excelled in the S14 200 meters freestyle in both women's and men's Para Swimming.

The fastest, and consequently the gold medalist, was Ana Soares, with a time of 2:17.66.

In second place was Beatriz Borges with 2:21.16, and third was Debora Borges, with 2:22.46.

In the male's category, the gold also went to a Brazilian para-swimmer, as Gabriel Bandeira emerged victorious with a time of 1:56.30, setting a Parapan American record.

The second place went to Colombian Juan García (1:57.28), while the bronze was claimed by Canadian Tyson MacDonald (2:01.61).
