Brazil, Argentina Dominates in SB9 100 Meters Breaststroke in Para Swimming

Brazilian Lucas Lamente and Argentine Daniela Giménez were the champions in Santiago 2023.

Saturday, November 18th, 2023.- Brazil and Argentina had an outstanding performance at the Centro de Deportes Acuático of Estadio Nacional during the Para Swimming SB9 100 meters breaststroke event at the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games.

In the male's category, Brazilian Lucas Lamente emerged as the champion, securing victory with a time of 1:11.98.

The podium was completed by another Brazilian representative, Ruan Lima, who earned the silver with a time of 1:12.53, while the bronze went to Argentina's Santiago Senestro, finishing with a time of 1:12.68.

In the Female's category, the fastest was the Argentine Daniela Giménez, clocking in at 1:21.53.

The rest of the podium featured the United States, with Taylor Winnett (1:32.85) securing the silver, and Sarah Bofinger (1:38.74) taking home the bronze.
