Tamara Leonelli adds new gold for Chile

The Chilean Para table tennis player defeated Nayla Kuell in five competitive sets in the Class 4-5 final.

Saturday, November 18th, 2023.- Tamara Leonelli secured another gold medal for Team Para Chile in the Class 4-5 of Para table tennis held at the facilities of the Ñuñoa's Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico.

The Chilean athlete won in five sets against Argentinian Nayla Kuell with scores of 2-11, 11-7, 11-4, 9-11, and 11-6 in 28 minutes of play.

With this victory, she not only defended her gold medal from at the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games but also secured her spot at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Leonelli's gold medal adds to the earlier medals earned by Luis Flores in Class 11, Florencia Pérez in Class 8, and Maximiliano Rodríguez in Class 4.
