Male's Bowling: The United States Takes Home the Gold Medal

AJ Johnson was the best in the closing of the Pan American Games at the Centro del Bowling in Mall Plaza Vespucio, in La Florida.

Sunday, November 5th, 2023.- American AJ Johnson won the gold medal in the bowling event of the Pan American Games on Sunday, adding the second medal in this discipline, following the achievement of Jordan Richard and Breanne Clemmer in the female's doubles.

In the finale of Santiago 2023, the Illinois native was the best at the Centro del Bowling in Mall Plaza Vespucio, scoring 795 in the final round of this discipline.

The silver medal went to Canadian Michel Hupé, who scored 727. He had previously defeated Puerto Rican Cristian Azcona in the semifinals with a score of 673 vs. 665.

Bronze medals were awarded to those who lost in the round of the final four, including Costa Rican Marco Moretti (who lost 680 vs. 666 to Johnson) and Azcona.
