Female's Bowling: Colombia Showed Supremacy at Santiago 2023

Part of the final day of the Pan American Games took place at the Centro de Bowling of Mall Plaza Vespucio, in La Florida, with the competition dominated by Colombian athletes.

Sunday, November 5th, 2023.- Colombia, the upcoming host of the 2027 Pan American Games in Barranquilla, was the clear dominator of female bowling at Santiago 2023, as demonstrated on this Sunday, the last day of the Santiago 2023 competition.

On this Sunday, in the closing of the first Pan American Games organized by Chile, the gold and silver medals went to representatives of that country, after they qualified for this final round as the best in their category.

At the Centro de Bowling of Mall Plaza Vespucio, the best in this discipline was Clara Guerrero, with a score of 687 points. Her closest runner-up was her compatriot Juliana Franco, with 640 points.

Bronze medals went to those who fell in the semifinals: the American Breanna Clemmer, who lost to Guerrero (678 vs. 637), and the Mexican Sandra Góngora, who was defeated by Franco (655 vs. 605).
