Sunday, November 5th, 2023.- Colombia's male's squash team secured the gold medal at the Pan American Games by defeating their counterparts from Argentina 2-0. 

First, Juan Vargas triumphed in 50 minutes with scores of 11-4, 8-11, 11-6, and 11-4 against Jeremías Azaña at the Centro de Entrenamiento de Tenis y Deportes de Raquetas at the Estadio Nacional. 

Later on, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez staged a comeback and defeated Leandro Romiglio in one hour and 31 minutes with scores of 7-11, 4-11, 11-7, 11-6, and 11-3. 

To reach the final, Colombia defeated Canada 2-0 on Saturday, which earned Canada the bronze medal. 

Argentina also secured a spot in the final by defeating Peru 2-1 on Saturday, and Peru took home the bronze medal as well.
