Santiago 2023: Last Day of an Unforgettable Celebration

The Pan American Games conclude this Sunday with thrilling finals and a spectacular closing show, featuring the performance of Prince Royce.

Sunday, November 5th, 2023.- The Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, the continent's premier sporting event, concluded after 19 days of competition, marking the 19th edition and Chile's first time hosting.

The excitement of all these days culminated in the gold medal matches for both male and female in bowling, BMX freestyle, karate, speed skating, Basque pelota, squash, table tennis, and archery.

The closing ceremony will take place at the Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida, starting at 8:00 p.m. this Sunday.

The event will feature performances by local artists Inti Illimani Histórico, Congreso, Pascuala Ilabaca, and Joe Vasconcellos, along with the internationally renowned American-Dominican singer Prince Royce.

A touching moment during the closing ceremony will be the presentation by the Colombian city of Barranquilla, the host of the next Pan American Games in four years, as it introduces itself to the entire continent.
