Saturday 4th November 2023.- One of the sports that has brought great joy to Argentina is rugby, a trend that kept going at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, as the Pumas won the gold in the male's division.

The Argentinian team had no trouble defeating Chile in the final with a score of 24-5, in a match held at the Estadio Municipal de La Pintana.

The standout player for the champions was Alejo Lavallén, who contributed a total of 19 points.

The third place and, therefore, the bronze medal went to Canada, who won a close match against the United States, with a score of 19-17.

Meanwhile, in the female's division, the gold medal was claimed by the United States, narrowly defeating Canada with a score of 19-12.

Finally, the bronze medal in female's rugby 7 went to the Brazilian team, who secured a convincing 45-0 victory over Colombia at La Pintana commune.
