Saturday, November 4th, 2023.- Uruguay claimed the fifth spot in female's field hockey at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Cuba in a match where they faced no real opposition.

The Uruguayan team took the lead before halftime with goals from Milagros Algorta and Sol Amadeo.

In the second half, Lupe Curutchage sealed the final score, concluding Uruguay's participation in the Pan American tournament.

At 5:30 p.m. local time, Chile and Canada will compete for the bronze medal, while at 7:45 p.m., Argentina and the United States will compete for the gold.
