Saturday, November 4th, 2023.- Chilean Renato Bolelli secured the bronze medal for Team Chile by defeating Cuban Alejandro González 2-0 in the fronton 30 meters basque pelota category.

The local specialist's achievement was that he avenged his previous loss to the same opponent, who had beaten him in the initial rounds yesterday. Today, he won 15-11 in the first set and 15-3 in the second.

"I'm happy because I didn't want to leave empty-handed. The extraordinary crowd that supported me, they got up early. I hope they keep supporting me as always. This medal is for them and for my family, who has always been there for me," said the emotional athlete, who secured the 20th bronze medal for the host country, Santiago 2023.

Chilean Rosario Valderrama will also compete for bronze against Cuban Laura Álvarez Prado starting at 10.00 a.m.
