Friday, November 3rd, 2023.- Dance and sport unite at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago thanks to breaking, a discipline making its first appearance in a multi-sport event.

The competition features nine judges who select the winner and evaluate the following criteria: technique, musicality, vocabulary (variety), execution (performance), creativity, and personality.

First, the B-Girls took the stage, followed by the B-Boys, where one of the big surprises came from the local talent Matita, who managed to advance to the quarter-finals.

Competing for medals, there will also be the Canadian Phil Wizard, Americans Jeffro and Grvity, the Colombian Alvin, the Brazilians Rato and Leony, and the Venezuelan Lil G.

The final rounds will take place this Saturday. Additionally, the winners secure their spots for Paris 2024.
