Friday, November 3rd, 2023.- The United States got off to a strong start in the female's softball Super Round, where the top four teams in the tournament compete for a spot in the final, which will award the gold and silver medals.

The American team defeated Puerto Rico 11-3 and will now face Canada, which debuted with a 6-1 victory over Mexico yesterday. The winner of this match will secure a place in the final.

In today's game at the Parque Cerrillos diamond, the United States took an early lead in the first inning, scoring four runs that proved decisive. While Puerto Rico managed to narrow the gap to 4-2 in the fourth inning, the American team quickly increased their lead, and in the fifth and sixth innings, they secured an 11-3 victory.

The Super Round will conclude this afternoon with the matches between Canada and the United States and Mexico and Puerto Rico. The top two teams will play for the gold and silver medals tomorrow, while the third and fourth teams will compete for the bronze.
