Thursday, November 2nd, 2023.- On the sixth day, Pan American sailing determined the sailors competing in the medal race and some athletes who secured the 22 country spots for South America and the North, Central America, and the Caribbean (NACC) regions for Paris 2024.

Tomorrow, in the penultimate day of the competition, the Nacra 17, 49er (male and female), IQ Foil, and Formula Kite classes at Playa El Quisco will be the first to finish their races in this competition, which began on Saturday, October 24.

In the IQ Foil and Formula Kite classes, both making their debut in Paris 2024, a series of races will determine the Pan American medalists. The series was won by the Brazilian Bruno Chaves, who had already qualified for the Olympics and finished the qualifying races undefeated.

Canada's Emilie Bugeja and Colombia's María Loayza earned spots in the female's Kite class.
