Brazil, the United States, and Cuba dominate semi-finals of the male's 4x100

The relay teams from these three countries were the only ones to complete the semi-finals in under 39 seconds, securing their spots in the final for this evening.

Thursday, November 2st.- Brazil had the fastest relay team in the semi-final heats of the male's 4x100 at Santiago 2023, which took place on Thursday at the Estadio Nacional.

The Brazilian team, composed of Rodrigo do Nascimento, Felipe Bardi, Erik Barbosa, and Renán Correa, posted a time of 38.84 seconds, narrowly edging out the Americans Demarius Smith, Christopher Royster, Ilias García, and Terrance Laird, who recorded a time of 38.89 seconds.

Cubans Reynaldo Espinosa, Edel Amores, Yaniel Carrero, and Shainer Rengifo were the other team to break the 39-second barrier, with a time of 38.92 seconds.

In addition to these three teams, the relay teams from Argentina (which also qualified in the female's category), Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Venezuela, and Paraguay also advanced to the final, which is scheduled for Thursday night at 9:03 p.m. local time.

The Dominican team did not finish their heat, while the Colombian team did not participate in the second heat.
