Garly Sojo was the standout player, contributing 22 points to the victory, setting the stage for a medal hunt.

The Venezuelan team demonstrated clear superiority by winning three of the four quarters.

In the end, the team, under the guidance of Daniel Seoane, won each quarter with scores of 16-12, 23-29, 21-16, and 17-11 in this match, which was part of Group A.
