Female's Water Polo: Canada and the United States advance to semifinals

There were no surprises in the last quarterfinal matches. The Canadians defeated Chile 33-2, while the Americans won 32-1 against Mexico. Unless there is a major surprise, both teams are likely to face each other in the final.

Thursday, November 2st.- As expected, the United States and Canada had no trouble advancing to the semifinals of the female's water polo competition, joining Brazil and Argentina among the top four teams in the tournament.

In the last five Pan American Games, the United States has won the gold medal and Canada the silver, and unless a major surprise occurs, they are likely to meet again in the final at Santiago 2023.

Today, in their respective quarterfinal matches, the United States defeated Mexico 32-1, while Canada did the same with Chile, winning 33-2. Earlier, Argentina had defeated Puerto Rico 13-11, and Brazil had won 12-10 against Cuba.

In the semifinals, the United States will face Argentina, and Canada will take on Brazil, while the losing teams will continue competing for secondary placements.
