Thursday, November 2st.- In the first match of Thursday in female field hockey at the Pan American Games, the Uruguay national team defeated their Mexican counterparts 3-0.

The goals for the winning team were scored by Sol Amadeo and Teresa Viana (2) in the match held at the Centro Deportivo del Hockey Césped at Estadio Nacional.

The next match for lower positions on Thursday will be played between Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago, starting at 11:45 a.m. local time.

In the afternoon of the same day, the two semifinal matches for Santiago 2023 will take place: Argentina vs. Canada at 17:30 p.m. and Chile vs. the United States at 19:45 p.m.
