Cuba beats Chile in the conclusion of Group B in water polo

The Caribbean team prevailed in a closely contested match against the Chileans, who are still without a victory in the sport

Wednesday, November 1st.- Cuba closed the group stage of water polo with a tight victory against Chile by 13-9, which determined the quarter-final matchups.

The match was the last one in Group B, where both teams entered without any victories. Given this scenario, it was the Cubans who were more effective in the opponent's goal and secured the three points.

The quarter-final scores were 2-2, 3-4, 4-1, and 4-2, resulting in a 13-9 victory for the Cubans, who will face Brazil in the quarter-finals.

Chile, on the other hand, will face the United States, a country that won Group A convincingly and decisively.

The water polo quarter-final matches, which in these games allocate spots for Paris 2024, will be held tomorrow at the following times:

• 3:00 p.m: Brazil vs. Cuba.
• 4:30 p.m: Puerto Rico vs. Argentina.
• 6:00 p.m: United States vs. Chile.
• 7:30 p.m: Mexico vs. Canada.
