Brazil defeated Peru and will compete for the fifth spot in male's field hockey.

The Brazilian squad overcame the Peruvians and will face Mexico for the fifth spot.

Wednesday, November 1st.- Brazil will contend for the fifth place in male's field hockey after an 8-1 victory over Peru in a match played amid heavy rain at Santiago 2023.

Just like the theme of Guns N' Roses, "November Rain," it rained on November 1 in Santiago, but that didn't deter the Brazilian team from securing a comfortable win against the Peruvian side.

Brazil's goals were scored by Lucas Paixa twice, Eduardo Ludueña, Gabriel Martins, Joaquín López, André Patrocinio, Adam Imer, and Stephane Smith. Peru's only goal was scored by Daniel Rehder.

Now, Brazil will face Mexico in the battle for the fifth place in male's field hockey.
