Wednesday, November 1st.- The United States concluded their participation in Group A of male's water polo with a flawless campaign, defeating Brazil comfortably with a score of 24-7.
The American team was in complete control of the game, with Hannes Daube being the most effective player, converting four out of five opportunities.
The victory for the North American team was never in doubt, as they closed the first period with a 5-2 lead and extended their dominance in the second period, winning by 8-0. The third and fourth periods ended 5-2 and 6-3, respectively, sealing the win.
The United States finished in first place in Group A with nine points, while Brazil secured the second spot with six points.
The United States team now awaits the outcome of Group B to determine their opponent in the quarter-finals.
