Table Tennis: Puerto Rico and Brazil to the female's Singles Final

The gold medal match will take place this afternoon at the CEO in Ñuñoa.

Wednesday, November 1st.- On Wednesday morning, November 1st, the finalists for the female singles in table tennis at the Pan American Games were determined. 

The decisive match for the gold medal of Santiago 2023 will be contested starting at 5:00 p.m. local time today. It will feature Puerto Rican Adriana Díaz and Brazilian Bruna Takahashi, taking place at the Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico (CEO) located in the Ñuñoa commune. 

First, Adriana Díaz defeated Canadian Mo Zhang in a closely fought seven-set match, with scores of 11-13, 11-5, 11-7, 7-11, 11-9, 11-13, and 11-6, after 49 minutes of play. 

And then, in just 28 minutes of play, Bruna Takahashi overcame the American Lily Ann Zhang in four sets with scores of 14-12, 11-5, 11-8, and 11-5.
