Argentina easily defeats Chile and gains hope in water polo

The South American team defeated the hosts and qualified for the semi-finals in the male's category.

Tuesday, October 31th, 2023.- Argentina secured their spot in the semi-finals of the male's water polo and has high hopes of winning a medal at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

The South American team had a calm day in the last match of this Tuesday, as they defeated the home team, Chile, with a clear 16-3 victory in the pool at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos.

Three Argentine players stood out: Tomás Tilatti, Tomás Echeñique, and Guido, each scoring twice.

Argentina is currently in second place in their group with six points, the same as Canada but with a lower goal difference. Cuba and Chile have not earned any points.

On Wednesday, Argentina will aim to make an impact against Canada, starting at 4:30 p.m., while Cuba and Chile will play at 7:30 p.m., concluding the group stage.
